Wanted Wheelchair Drive/passenger Chrysler Grand Voyager

Postby rac90 » 21 Aug 2011, 22:41

WANTED!!!!

I'm looking for a side entrance wheelchair driver/passenger Chrysler Grand Voyager or Kia Sedona.

Needs a lowered floor with at least 56 inches head height, wheelchair restrains/locking system...

Preferably low milage, FSH and MOT. Would be a bonus if it has privacy glass, hand controls and tow bar...

Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Agreed on needing to post location, but I'm guessing the OP is UK based given that I've never heard of FSH and MOT in the US, and not exactly sure what they are, beyond being another way for the gov't to extract money from you... Also I don't think the Kia Sedona is a US model, or at least it isn't one mentioned when talking conversion options over here...

XG, Yes

FSH = Full Service History (usually a stamped service book and copy bills)

MOT = Ministry of Transport
(Now defunct, and scheme still known as that, but run by the DVLA [Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency] for the Department of Transport.
The uniform national scheme provides and requires a mandatory annual inspection and test for almost all vehicles of 3 years and over, for which a centralised computer register is maintained.

However, other EU countries have equivalent schemes, also all at national level, and I believe that South Africa and Australia do likewise.
Best,

Martin

What does that FSH thing do when dealing with a person that does their own upkeep and repairs? Up until I was injured, I did my own services, to the point where I'd estimate that my vehicles made less than a dozen trips to professional mechanics....

XG

Most buyers will mark their offer down without FSH.

If of course the car is on a UK Motability lease, then they can print out the FSH regardless.

Best,
