My van is a braun Entervan conversion with lowered floor in-floor ramp with automatic door open when you push the buttons. I was on my way home yesterday and started hearing random beep sounds coming from the back of the van where the braun entervan black box is and when I got home and tried getting out I pushed the button to open the door and deploy the ramp and it wouldnt work. I could the door to open if it was started by hand but the ramp wouldnt work. I tried it with it both running and not. finally I had to have someone just pull the ramp out with their hands so i could get out. The odd thing is that after i was outI tried the button and the ramp went in and the door shut like it should. I tried to open it back up with the buttons and it still wouldnt work.

Anyone had this problem or might know what the problem is or what those beeps meant? are there fuses I should check that are isolated to just the braun conversion part of my van?

Ramp position sensor or microswitch? Did you try resetting the computer, because they crash like all computers occasionally...

Otherwise call braun. Memorise the beep code, and look at the computers screen if it has one, because the error may be displayed there.

Also does the door work without the ramp on the vans system? Could be a door motor or door power supply as part of the vans OEM system not well. And there has been people on here with door cables causing issues on here, on the entervan/rollx systems on the Chrysler vans. So that may be similar on your van.
