VMI conversion

Postby goodman1 » 14 Feb 2013, 23:15

I have a 2007 Honda Odyssey with a VMI conversion. I have been trying to order the manual hand crank to let the ramp out if the motor fails for over a month from the same company. Every time I call them its either a problem, or the person is away from there desk and does not call me back. Will someone please tell me if there is a website I can buy this from or does anyone out there have one that you will sell?

Have you tried contacting VMI directly? They may be able to sell you the part you need without going through your dealer, or at the very least they may be able to put some pressure on your dealer to get his act together and treat you better...

I've had success with calling VMI tech support direct on a lift I have. I explained my problem and they directed me to a different dealer, sent me a few documents I needed. My lift was out of production, a Elite G2, but still a pretty decent lift for my backup van. Sometimes it just depends on which tech you get, but don't give up.
