hi ,, I have an aevit ! in my van.. \the van is a few years old so the aevit people wont help me out ... After a trip to the gagrage the thing would not boot up... it turned out the garage had wrecked the conections going into the vehicle interface module.... After that was repaired it booted once and has since been a dead mullet. \the garage dont are not being helpful. \i am trying to find anyone with an aevit 1 .. \my best bet may be to replace modules and find out what is damaged so \i am ideally looking for someone willing to supstitute modules to narrow the problem down. When the aevit booted up once it worked as it should .. its a mystery ,, wires have been checked for continuity , there is no obvious scourching ... right now it wont even go through the boot up proceedure the only working part is the voltmeter/ battery changeover other than that nothing happens . \the main board is getting voltage but does lard all .... Any advice etc would be appreciated , bear in mind that \i am no electronics wizz... previous to this the aevit had worked flawlesssly for years .... \thanks in advance ... The Aevit 1 controls the gas and brake it is a relatively simple set up and fantastic when working..

No direct suggestions, but might be worth looking into whatever consumer protection stuff you have available to you, and filing appropriate complaints.... Be sure to document anything in the way of correspondence and admissions from the garage that they were responsible, and so forth... If nothing else, you should be able to get the garage to pay for the repairs needed...

thanks for the advice , \i am hopoing to find a way to avoid persuing the garage because they are unhelpful but if i find no way to repair tis then that may well be what has to be done ... \still hope to get advice on a repair possibility or a loan of modules to see which part has gone pop....

Did you ever get this resolved? Do you have the 2.0 version?
