On minivans does the passenger seat

,when set in a comfortable position for the passenger, interfere with the clearance needed to enter the side door?

Well it depends on your passenger. My ex was about 100lb so quite happy with the seat always in the fully forward position. But if my brother got in, and moved it back it gets in the way. Especially if reclined much. So you need to explain to regular users to leave the seat in its forward position to make it easier.

I have a dodge by Braun and if anyone taller that about 5'8" (1.7m) sits in the passenger seat we have to move the seat back to where it would block ramp. My wife is 5'7" so we're ok but it is a bit close. When we looked for this van we noticed that all of the models we looked at had slight differences in the ramp/door opening.

On my VMI Honda, if the seat is full back I can squeak in but its tight but for most people under 6' its no problem unless the seat is reclined quite a bit.
