Hi,

My name is Moira I live on the Isle of Man and have fibromyalgia arthritis and chronic fatigue.

Myself and my dog have recently started to train in dog agility. I am training my dog from my mobility scooter. It is a pride go go travel and is not really suitable or fast enough for training my dog as it only does 4.mph. I made snow chains and put them on the back wheels so I would have grip on the grass, they work fine. I have done some research and most people use power chairs for agility. I will be the first person where I live ( on the Isle of Man ) to train my dog so it is a learning curve for my trainers too. At the moment I am hiring an 8.mph mobility scooter from shopmobility for training on a Saturday morning but at £8.50 a day I cant hire it every week. I am looking into how to finance a power chair.

I also want to take my dogs out in fields and the countryside as my other hobby is photography especially nature. :)

That will work! I love the island. As an ex now somewhat broken motorcycle hooligan I have done many high speed laps of your island! It was like going back in time 20 years.

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I love the TT races and it is huge now and getting bigger every year you should try to come back and watch them again.

The Joe Dunlop foundation purchased a house right on Braddan Bridge and adapted it for people with disabilities to stay for the TT.

I have been looking on eBay and am looking at something like this.......KYMCO K-ACTIV 6MPH, CLASS 3, ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR, POWERCHAIR........... I would rather 8:MPH cos I have a fast dog, lol.

Hi Manxie,

Dunno if you're still around but have a look here: http://www.mobilitygiant.co.uk/shop/tga-vita-x
Looks like it'd fit the part.

There's others available but I think this one comes closest to the specs you list.

Good luck!
