Ah Charging Batteries

Postby martin007 » 01 Apr 2021, 20:24

Hello.

Suppose we charge a few batteries (12V x 2) connected in series.
The batteries are 31 Ah.

How many maximum Ah do the batteries receive?
31Ah or 62 Ah?

This is easy. In series, you have 31Ah.

Lets say you have 2 of 10Ah batteries.
Connected in series that is 24V and 10Ah.
Connected in parallel thats 12V and 20Ah

If you have 4 of 10Ah batteries, then:
Connected in series you have 48V and 10Ah.
Connected in parallel you have 12V and 40Ah
