BM, the one you linked to is 1903 which isn't updated anymore. The link from that page which I posted above gives you 20H2 which is still receiving security updates.

Although I prefer making my own stripped down install images from the en-GB iso's rather than en-US ones which most pre-made images are based on.

Update is all stripped out. But there isnt any links on that page?

This build is not just like the ones you make. Its a long term project thats 2 GB smaller and all the stuff your disable or uninstall totally gone. Including updates.

The website link is at the bottom of that archive page, under History. That's where I found the 20H2 version.

Might download it and try it for fun. :joint :ugeek:

Different strokes for different folks, but I'll note that the current LTSC is still 1908 and still gets security updates, but not feature updates - thank goodness for the absence of those. I think that the next LTSC release is scheduled for 2022.

When the 22 version is available, I will have that asap. It will not be an upgrade though it will a complete redo.

Last I saw the next LTSC will not really be long term for normal installations with the real LTSC reserved only for Microsoft "partners" with that version only available from a worldwide, small number of specific industrial software dealers. So, we may or may not want the 2022 version or may not really be able to get it anyway.

It will be available. I never saw anything from microsoft that wasnt yet. Why dont we want it?

https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/ ... -p/2147232

Unlikely to be a problem. New versions of LTSC will be released every 3 years regardless. And non need to be upgraded unless you choose to do that. Meanwhile you will get updates for another 9 years yet.

Customers currently using Windows 10 LTSC for special deployment scenarios are encouraged to begin upgrading these devices to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019. The five-year mainstream support for this release will not end until January 9, 2024, after which this release will receive an additional five years of Extended Support providing security updates.

You can get all the business operating systems by following the instructions here. https://www.itechtics.com/download-and- ... _LTSC_2019

Thats Win 10 Enterprize and LTSC now, and the latest ones as soon as available later this year. Or the latest versions of each right now. The 22 versions will be at the end of 21. Direct from microsoft clean and safe. And the same method of activation still works...

We'll see, but from what MS posted on their web pages the distribution model for LTSC will change with the next edition.

Their distribution model might well change. But the hackers have their own! And they never failed yet with ANY software of any type ever since about 1995.

In the same way that I can see movies that will be released to the cinemas across the world in august and already have. And to DVD in 2022. Theres always a way! For e.g. industry distribute "screeners" o DVD to various people around the world. Locks only keep honest people out.

In the same way I now keep my portable grinder in my van. Wheel clampers are at work around here and I am waiting up to 3 months for my blue parking badge replacement... Those things again, only stop those that dont have a grinder! Being able to get home when you are a wheelchair user with double contenence issues means that I must do whatever it takes if no choice.
