Exactly. Remove all the dell bloat you dont need any of it at all. The computer runs better and idles lower and has more headroom left for performance if YOU drive the computer instead of letting it do everything. As usual. This is the sort of thing that steve and myself refer to when we talk about computers and users.
99 percent of PCs are unbelievably badly configured and set up. Because they think that bill gates or dell or whatever know best. They dont. They are trying to sell you stuff and make sure that it "works" with no effort from those 99% of PC dummies.
if you are - great - if not its fine also -

How much CONTENT is on drive C in GB?
Move the backups to a safe place first.
but isnt there one that runs faster 10 gig data transfer usb ports ?

Burgerman wrote:You mean on the one internal drive? Yes. 200Gb is about right for C. And make a new patrtition D.
DELETE the dell wasted space partition. KEEP the fat 32 boot partition.
When done, backup ONLY the fat32 boot partition, and C. Then use that new backup and restore it to your USB removable NVMe.. And you will be able to boot into windows from that USB sick.
but then its wasted space sitting there
