Yes he came and installed it last week. It's good, so much faster and reliable. It's always above 100mbps but I think it drops slightly lower during peak demand, I'm not sure? But it's more than enough for what I need, so I don't bother speed checking it anymore. My old 4-5 ADSL service was so unreliable and downloads took forever banghead

I'd never buy ADSL again. I've come to the conclusion that cheap internet is a false economy. And fibre is only a few quid more anyway.

I have THREE ways to connect to the web.

1. Virgin at 100mbps and always get more. No phone. Just unlimited data. Connected by wireless or direct connect network to my desktop.
2. A sim card on ORANGE network in my laptop which supports around 50 to 80mbps everywhere I ever tested it, with the same unlimited data. So internet connectivity while at the beach, pub, or for GPS and internet as I drive... Again LTE 4G connectivity.
3. A VOXI sim card/wireless modem on my window sill. As backup. In case virgin goes down. It also does endless free calls, via my home phone, as well as 50 to 80mbps and no data limits on LTE 4G and no limits and no ontract. So I connect to this with wireless for internet.

I dont trust 1 network...

I can't get the Phone App to connect to the router. It supposedly allows you alter the settings of the router if need be. :problem:

No idea about "apps"... But if you have a real computer just plug in a network cable, open firefox, type 192.168.0.1 in the adress bar and press enter! The password is on the routers sticker.
