Beautiful. Our one and only cherry tree was nearly destroyed last year by a freak hard frost after it had already blossomed. Only a few branches on one side survived, and they've now blossomed, but it does look pretty sad. Perhaps we'll get 1 or 2 pints of fruit this year.
Where I live, fruit trees are easy prey for ice. Until May 10 there is a risk of frost. If there were no frost this would be the paradise of fruit trees.
I found one of these beautiful trees yesterday an I couldn't identify it. I'll be making some cherry blossom jelly. Jelly making has become a bit of a hobby
