It doesent get this hot here normally. But this may be a new record. Or not. Either way I dont like it.

I once saw 50C on several motorway bridges (they display temp on a large sign) during a hot summer in spain during the late 80s early 90s while driving a 2 wheeler across spain. That was seriously seriously hot. Partly because of concrete/tarmac, partly sun, partly big trucks fighing the uphill parts. The heat from those if following was unbelievable! You couldnt follow.

I was really overheated. In leathers. I bought 2 litres of refrigerated water. And drank it and it made me puke it all up. An italian biker also bought 2 litres cold water. And he was wiser. He tipped it over his head and drank a little. He lives in a hot country and was traveling spain. And knew better. I learned from that!

Thermometers overheat by absorbing solar radiation; the sheet metal conducts heat.
The temperature must be taken in the shade.

Yes. I dont think I could stand it. However because this place is green, humidity is high when hot. So you sweat and it goes nowhere! So YOU get too hot.

I live in the cold zone of Spain.
I guarantee you that in the south of Spain it is as hot as in the desert of New Mexico.

It got up to 43C (109F) in parts of my town according to my van. Going out in it today felt like a hairdryer! Luckily my van has dual AC temp control, one in the front and one in the back. Both were on cold and max air blow, it felt nice!

Seemsto me that if its hot enough to need hat you should be in an air conditioned bar with a cold one watching the scenery.
