Shipping...

Postby Burgerman » 01 Feb 2023, 12:03

When stuff comes from HK it always takes forever. So I was worried about buying my new camera from a HK shop/business. But since it saved around 1K and I am tight, I took a risk. Paypal always savs the day! Because when a deal is too good to be true. It almost always is... So I thought it may be a scam. It still may be I dont know what they are shipping yet! It might not be what it was meant to be...

But the slow boat from china is no more.

I ordered at a late hour last night... Its already been shipped, and delivery expected on the 6th! Thats a 5 day delivery from HK. God knows how they can do that as well as giving away a camera at a rediculously lower price and offer 2 year warranty as well.

Express shipping is always available , but at a very high cost unless you have a business account with the courier .

I was shipping CRT projectors and wheelchairs from US to HKG since 2001. I had 85% off, compare to walk-in customer.

I just shipped 2 PL8 to the US, and they landed NYC in 6 days .

I am not in any business now .

Hello guys, it's good to know that shipping works well and that purchases arrive in normal times. Here, although the purchases arrive, it is with 140% more due to absurd national taxes that only serve to collect and they do not care that it is for a person who depends on it to make their chair work.

Well you have an extremist and totalitarian corrupt government. If you cant vote them out you need to rise up and put a free market capitalist government in. And let deregulated, low taxation aand subsequent free market trade make you all richer. Like HK did. Like america did.

Again!
I ordered a lens.
Same HK based grey import shop. Saved 400 over buying in the UK. And just like the previous camera/lens I ordered from them, it took 2 days and 6 hours from clicking buy button, to delivery to my door. I am holding it... Its hot! Or 2 days, 2 hours actual elivery time by fedex.
Thats faster than ordering it at daft prices in the UK.

Screenshot http://www.wheelchairdriver.com/shipping.jpg This is how all tracking should be.

How the hell do fedex manage 2 sets of export/import customs, and still do 6k miles, 3 seperate flights, and by road to my door in 2 days and 2 hours.
This is what the service is called: FedEx International Priority.
