Quickie f55 and a few questions

Postby Bob Hepple » 18 Jul 2012, 19:59

Hello all
I have acquired a second hand f55 I have two questions

1 what lockdown system do we recommend on this forum. I have read alot of the mods done to f55 but don't seem to find lockdowns
the chair has the pin type, the name of it I don't know, but the ground clearance has been compromised. I understand ETAC do a system although expensive but not sure if it would fit a f55

2 I hope to fit a riser to this chair does this compromise the batteries (MK 60ah) are there at moment.

thanks for reading

Pin is just a bolt. Use a shorter one, and fit whatever electronic tie down you use on a 2 inch spacer. That way you gain 2 extra inches of clearance over what you have now.

Group 24 batteries fit, (73Ah gel MK for eg) but they often fit smaller 60Ah ones anyway, so no in that case they should still work with the riser.
