Almost every manufacturer has 4mph, 6.2mph and 8mph chairs. Or 8.5mph chairs.

Are you light? And after speed at the expense of everything else?
Are you expecting good torque for thresholds and ramps and control?

Because 8mph chairs have less range, less torque, less control, and eat batteries at faster intervals than a 6mph chairs do.

I have a 15mph chair, but to do this, and have good power and torque, and range, I had to use a large lithium battery and 45 volts rather than 24volts like stock powerchairs. You cannot buy a chair like this so the compromises remain.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the difference? Most members of this forum are using electric wheelchairs, with some using electric scooters.
