comparing Quickie Xplore to 646 se

Postby yeshelp » 15 Jan 2021, 06:15

Hello everybody,

i do have been useing a 646 se for last 2 years . it is good. harder in snow but already better than central middle drive wheel chairs.

i might have a good opportunity to buy a Quickie Xplore.

How do those 2 models compare?

the model seems rare. has it come after 646 se of before? if someone can tell me grosso modo the succession of sunrise back wheel powered chair with approx years i would really help me too

What country are you in? Sounds like canada or US?

It makes a huge difference as there are for e.g. lots of rear drive chairs available in the UK for e.g, and these include sunrise chairs that are not available or have different names in the US/Canada. And some that are very similar but different options. And some that overlap. For e.g. the Q500 is available in the US and there is no centre footrest option available. Where the same chair (and a Q700 verion not available in us?) is available with a centre footplate option. Which on a rear drive chair is important for a bunch of reasons. Different countries, different options, chairs and years.

Welcome to the forums. As BM mentioned, it is important when discussing chair models, and lots of other things to know roughly where you are from...

It helps us a lot if people posting can go into the "User Control Panel" (see top of each page) and put in at least your country (more detail is nice but not usually essential - depends on your privacy preferences)

the last i checked on the US sunrise site - the RWD chairs are only P222se and 636 646 - same chair just 646 is faster - thats it

before the 646 there was the 626 P200 - forget those - stick with the current 636 646 if you want a good RWD chair - P222se is RWD also -

i have it - i use the 646 mostly - will be getting a another one in a month -
