looks like a fun rig, but would have been nice if they showed more about the mechanics of it - obviously battery powered, but not clear where the motors were, how they did suspension and stuff like that...

Looks like electric bicycle style - hub motors. Looks good for someone who can use a tiller.

yessir : four brushless golden diamond (China) hub motors (reputed fragile) & controllers, I suppose. Rear bike forks x4 suspensions, lithium german battery pack in outdoor only all weather-terrain vehicle; looks like a winnner small, light and fast creation.
What I object is the whole rig weight over the canted wheel rays. But i'll eagerly try one right now !!
cheers

"Looks like" the Magic Pie hubmotors. Since those have an individual controller inside each hub-body, that would certainly simplify this vehicles construction....

All of these non indoor capable (4x4, skid steer, car style steer, too big) "powerchairs" baffle me.

Non of them are wheelchairs, that requires indoor or indoor/outdoor capability. Meaning casters, short, narrow etc. So why on earth are they:

a) re creating the wheel. Theres a mountain of existing really capable outdoor only vehicles, from big cars, buggies, quad bikes, etc already.
b) trying to do it with batteries, which with current technology cant cut it off road...

The whole outdoor only "wheelchair" catogory makes no sense at all to me.

Now, if they really are "wheelchairs" they need to be able to turn on the spot, without carpet damage, and be sub 26 inches wide, and as short as possible (40 / 44 inches?). Or they may as well be any existing outdoor off road capable vehicle.

mmm.. don`t know if is is like here, in UK back country, that you are shot first sight if caught in the woods or trail with a petrol vehicle, hence silent and non polluting electric power .

I mentioned the idea of adapting a petrol vehicle over on Junky Wheelchair, and got the comment that lots of public parks and other such spaces prohibit petrol power, but would allow electric, so there are places where the electric outdoor vehicle might be preferable...

(We have a lake in town that is similar - petrol powered motors are illegal, but electric trolling motors are OK...
