Quickie F55 side arms

Postby Bob Hepple » 02 Oct 2012, 20:12

:D Just come back from a fitting, for a Caravelle, I purchased a second hand f55 thinking i could use it as and outdoor travel about chair. I did not think of the problems of transferring from my chair to drivers chair. In the home I use a Balder the arms on balder just lift up on the f55 I have to lift them out (which I physically cant do) is their any options from Sunrise that allows this  or am I about to put a f55 For Sale notice up.

I looked at aPuma 40 the other week it was ok but cant afford it so pointless really unless i sell f55

Any help on parts appreciated

Best bet all round. Drive from wheelchair. Its just easier.

The F55 has lift out arms. So you will either need to do some serious modification, or use something else if thats a problem.

Motion concepts have transfer arms with a power option - make friends with a local light engineering shop [Google or Yell]- offer 150 ukp for the job.
