Pride Mini Jazzy power wheelchair

I've been asked to advise a Canadian friend on the purchase of a second hand Pride Mini Jazzy - there's no other model number or identification.

I'm not asking to get into a debate over centre or rear wheel drive - just wondered whether anyone had hands on experience of this model chair. They're asking $550 for it (about 300 quid) and say that it runs i.e. there's at least some battery.

Any thoughts on sensible questions to ask of the seller before buying?

Thanks
Eric

Ask him this:

What question would he ask himself about it, that he is hoping you wont.

I would not buy it as it has the ancient "Pilot" controller which was superseeded by the "Pilot+" controller also already out of production. Buy something with a controller that can be programmed.

And that's what I will pass on - thanks.
