I have had my TDX SP 2 NB since July 2016 and really like it. I love how compact and manouverable it is. The suspension is great. Positioning- wise, I have electric tilt & recline (both 30° max for this chair). I have the centre mount footrest and seat lift (30°- both these features are electric).
I'm always on the lookout for cool chairs that meet my needs and aestetic preferences. I have the Sunrise Medical chairs (Rumba and the Breezy 350 manual chair). which I use as spares.
I have spastic quad CP, hydrocephalus with a VP shunt and a severely restricted visual field as well as nystagmus. I can't drive the chairs independently or push a manual (Someone else has to do it).
I had an Otto Bock A200 as a loan chair years ago and did not like that- 30 amp batteries left me stranded when out for the day. It was unstable on ramps and had no suspension.
Attendant had to push me home.
The TDX 2 NB I have right now is my first Invacare chair, and is proportionally a good fit for my body/ height and very adjustable. Smooth ride. I did look at the TDX 2 Ultra Low Maxx when shopping around for powerchairs last time as it had just been released shortly after the TDX 2 range. Ultra Low Maxx similar to my chair but does not take specialist seating (only Matrx seating and is built to fit only this seating). I had a Martx deep backrest on the A200 but the back height wasn't high or supportive enough.
Currently have a Jay 3 shoulder height deep back with support in the ribcage area. Jay 3 cushion. Will be changing cushion soon.
Was interested in the Permobil M400 until now, but read on the website (last night) that it was discontinued and replaced with the M3 and M5.

Has anyone tried/ got the M3 or M5 Corpus from Permobil? I'm interested in Permobil because of the tilt/ recline range and also the fact that it takes seating like Jay or even custom seating. How do the chairs perform?
What are your opinions on these chairs compared to what I have? Not sure if the TDX 2 will be difficult to manouvre for my attendant compared to my nb (narrow base) version.
Looking for: narrow total width of chair (my TDX 2 NB is 61cm) bigger tilt range (50°) and larger recline. Need seat elevation. Looking for bigger bateries than what I have but on a narrow chair. M3 and M5 seem to fit the bill from what I have read. Only had RWD before but like MWD As need manouverability in small spaces.
