Hello,

My name is Charles and I live in Hamilton New Zealand. The reason I have registered with this web site is I see there has been correspondence regarding controlling a wheelchair via an Arduino micro-controller.

Currently I am in the process of putting an autonomous robotic unit together using an Invacare Pronto M71 as the undercarriage. I have no issues with the building of the hardware, it is the interfacing of the Arduino with the DX bus that I'm fighting with.

If there is help available in this area I would appreciate it

Have you talked with any of the engineers at Dynamic (in Christchurch I believe)? There are some really great guys there. Although there are reasons that they can't give you any details about the DX bus, they may be able to clear up any confusion about what protocol is used.
