Charging a chair last night, set 29.4V, and 12A, with 27.2V float. Via XLR plug. Set termination to 0.1A. (thats 100mA. And it worked fine. On Odysseys.

Switched to float as expected around 5 hours after charge, and after 4 hours CV. Then after current fell to almost zero (it says zero, but in fact was around 3 to 6mA, it periodically spikes up to 29.4V for a fraction of a second. Then switched off float till the voltage fell back to around float level. Thats presumable to test if theres sstill a battery there! But its actually a good thing. So you might get away with setting 0.1A transition, if your batteries are healthy.

Makes a fair bit of noise at night though, at low power and is stone cold. So I am considering:

EITHER
a. Remove front fan, fit a 25mm thick rear one only.
b. Fit 2x low power 25mm deep fans, and use two fan resistor cables to slow them further.

Both will quieten it considerably. And overheating wont be an issue as the fan speed will increase if it needs more airflow at high power anyway.

80mm fans come in 2800rpm and above, down to 1100 rpm.
This is slow, 1300 rpm, thicker, quiet at just 10 db and judging by the over the top stock airflow, more than adequate with the front fan gauze replaced with a fingerguard. As I already did. Should be almost inaudible. So I may fit 2. Ordered.

These draw .18A, vs .27A for the skinny stock ones.

You can get the same affect with a couple of resistor cables... Half the power, half the current, half the noise.

I may just do that. I did try one and it reduced noise a lot.

At first , I took those features as gimmick , and had little thought they will work out .

Glad that they all seem to work . The guy, who developed the mod kits , looks quite dedicated .

It can slso be programmed to shut down completely at a duration with minimal residual current . Tested yesterday . drunk2

As a charger alone, its noisy as it comes. But can be configured for AGM, gel, pure lead etc and iuts accurate enough. It can be configured with .1A end point, and so its better than almost all mobility chargers. And up to 50A...

In the EEPROM menu E... https://translate.googleusercontent.com ... dWUl-fpcVQ There's settings related to temperature and the 3-stage charging setup, but I'm not touching those until I fully understand what they do.
