I'm thinking it's either the Dealer kit that costs £175, or it could be the OEM dongle by itself without any cables or software (which are easy to find ;)). The USB cable is a Type A male to Type B male which can be bought cheaply on :ebay.

The dealer dongle isn't much cheaper than the OEM, they go for £300+

The point is that its normally impossible for an honest end user to get hold of OEM because they will refuse to supply!

It does I think, include the software (on official CD) or legal software usage rights. And also obviously updates etc. That needs registration, and a specific box code number, to allow you to register online. Or the cable to connect to PC. Officially... So if thats the number on the full kit, or is that the number on the dongle itself only?

I cant tell because I cant get to mine and the box is long gone!

It's the same one as Steve has got.
So it should be ok and messing about. Yes it's the full OEM kit

So I don't need anything else to get it working. Other than a cable

May as well put this here as well as the other thread. From an email.

All of them? As I mentioned on the other thread, seems that half the space is unused? Height and width?

In the middle are the controllers. Which stick out a bit.

The cells was in my puma 40s way before I bought the beast.

After the warranty is up.
I will move the controllers to the front length ways, and have a air scope to keep them cool.

In that myra you should be able to get 250Ah minimum, likely more. With huge service lifespan and range gains. Since its stock battes are grp27 or 31. And 100Ah+ lead.

Terry in the maintenance manual it refers to the speed setting dongle as optional so I just wondered if you had tried unplugging that dongle to see what happens - in theory at least it should give you the full speed of the chair. I haven't got mine yet but I will try this when it arrives as I'm not paying for a bit of go faster wire

If it just connects like a seating inhibit it may have various resistors to give different speed "bands". You can set all of those in programing to any speed from 0 to 100% or just disable the inhibit in programming. No need to unplug or try or test.

Added. Just saw pic.
That pic above isnt r-net... Its maybe myras own. So ignore the above.

They appear to have two modules (possibly in one housing but I'll find out when it arrives) the Rnet and an additional "adjustment module" that has the optional bit of wire but since it says it is optional it may well work at full speed by just unplugging the wire - I'll find out when it comes but i like to have ideas planned whist I await its delivery

If I take it out it goes back to 8 mph.

Hopefully I can override the speed reduction using the OEM software and a dealer dongle that I managed to get yesterday - if I can't figure it out I may ask you to check the resistance on your dongle Terry if that's OK? :0)

It depends on what motors you got with it.

It should go to 10 mph.

I wouldn't know how to check the "resistance " if my life depended on it :)

I got the 15kph / 10mph version and it is being delivered today and hopefully the guy delivering it will also be sorting the speed etc for me but if he doesn't I'll sort it myself once I get it on the computer as long as I can understand it. Checking resistance just needs a multimeter but if you are not into electronics you may not have one although if you built your own Lifepo4 battery you probably do.
I'm waiting to see what batteries are actually on it but will probably drop one of my 150Ah batteries into it - that should give it a reasonable range.
Looking forward to getting it out and about tomorrow :D

You've lost me.
If you already have the fastest motors, what are you trying to do?
As said. I know sweet FA about resistance

Depending on how they restricted its speed, there may be at least 4 ways to do that. I can think of more.

Also reply to the PM.

That program/settings file is wildly different to a normal tanksteer powerchair. Because it isnt one. All of those settings are alien to me and make no sense. Which is why many things are set to 1... I wouldnt know what did what. The reason is that it doesent use a powerchair tank steer mix system. It is designed as a scooter controller, which does weird stuff with either one or two drive motors with the motors configured somehow to work like a cars differential as you turn. So you are completely on your own in anything regarding steering.

I understand powerchairs well and what 95% of all the settings do. I dont understand more than 5% of this. Because things like turn acceleration make no sense if theres no tank steer happening. Likewise most of the rest of the settings.

So I got my head around the bit of wire in the inhibit to control speed - it is in the R-net manual chapter 13 which explains the resistance values and how they set the speed - I am guessing that switching the drive inhibit to off will override the bit of wire as BM suggested.
I was going to attach the manual but the file is too big

Its here http://www.wheelchairdriver.com/program ... 981-14.pdf

I know. Thats why I said to disable the inhibit. You could also just change the speed in the band that the resistor is in. But its easier to disable all. I also suspect that terry2 may be taking his speed indication from the joystick. And that can read anything. It simpy shows the joystick position as forward speed. It is set or programmed to suit the actual speed of the chair. So you must set that to whatever your phones GPS says.

Although that may be differet as that is not a ISM module in your photo its a meyra part... But I suspect its the same working method.

Also, CJSM2 manual http://www.wheelchairdriver.com/program ... 302-03.pdf

Sorted
Changing the programming to Terrys gave me 8mph in mode 5 and disabling the inhibit gave me 9.5mph
I don't think there's much difference or that it is worth worrying about but more importantly for me it has changed the flashing light to a steady light so there's nothing else causing a warning light to flash and I like that :0)
Happy bunny again.
I've also had a quick word with R and R alloys who made me the adapter I wanted for my chair and they can cut keyways to spec for my new adapter so I can make up a plate to fit a different set of wheels and tyres which I will get around to. I'll probably use one of the sets lying around here rather than getting more pretty ones but I may change my mind. I found I could easily get the wheels to loose grip and spin when trying to get over relatively small objects so having some low pressure tyres with a nice flat footprint and lots of traction is the next step after I've fitted the Lifepo4 cells. It's amazing how quickly you become used to being able to do a full charge in a short period of time instead of having to do an overnight charge. That becomes instantly frustrating when you want to go places

A key in a steel hub can probably handle the reversing loads, but in alloy it will get sloppy over time. Consider using a tapered locking assembly instead - there are many on the market these days and it makes the wheel easy to install and remove repeatedly but will lock it solidly to even a plain axle. Here's an example of the catalog from an Italian manufacturer: https://www.mav.it/en/download/standard-locking-devices.html (C15_ING_web.pdf is the one in English).
