Also why is there a car with no doors on it across the street?

the doll is right in front of the store that put it there - sometimes they change dolls - they have cloths inside etc,

this is NYC - nothing is strange here - strange is when nothing is strange - then its strange -

thats a jeep - doors come off - can be used with or with out - you never seen that before ?

My Brother had a few Athlon XP's, they were good CPUs in their day. The only thing that let them down was the crappy chipsets MB manufacturers used. I stuck with the P4 on an Intel chipset.

Doors come off all cars. In this country we generally have doors on our cars.

its pretty common here on Jeeps - not cars - but off road Jeeps etc, even if not used for off road - most just enjoy it with no doors

not sure how i would feel about that myself if it were mines - but must feel nice - all the wind on a nice day - unless someone pulls you out and takes off with it

Or your GF or mum falls onto the road at 70 as you turn.

Or robbed at a junction. Doesent make a lot of sense to me. Theres a reason cars have doors!

yes - always a reason for everything

even for having no doors - he will have a reason for it - - his reason - and his reason is all that matters to him and his jeep with no doors

i would feel strange in it with no doors - i would hope he dosnt use the highways that way at 70 mph - but thats his problem if he does

Just clone your running PC. The actual mechanical screwing together part shouldnt take more than an hour or so.

Its just like mecano. Or leggo. Designed to plug together.

Bet you a dollar you lose the M.2 screw... I bought a pack of 25.

The thing is with that specific screw is that its both the only one you have and its not used anywhere else on a PC. And is tiny. And it always falls and goes in the power supply or something. I lost so many that I went on ebay and bought a bag.

haha - funny - now that you said that about the M2 screw - i didnt loose the extra one they gave me - but dont know in which box i saved it in now -

i have to look for that one - the M2 on the front of the MB is the only one i installed - didnt loose the screw there -

it took a while for many reasons today - its done - its clean looking inside and out - the tray on top that slides out for the fans or Rad -

that was a pain and to remove the top cover was way too much involved - i never did it - two fans i had 140mm didnt fit on top the way i intended - 120mm would have but i had to remove the whole top cover which was a pain to do - i didnt do it -

i left it alone - one rear fan - one top fan and one front fan - the CPU cooler was in the way of installing 2nd fan up top - unless it went under the top cover - i didnt bother doing it that way - and didnt feel it would work - fans being too close between tray and cover -

its fine this way - all the wiring is nice and clean - i didnt power it on at all yet - either tomorrow or weekend -

i have to sit it on my desk to connect my monitor keyboard mouse - then will power it on and hope it works

this is not something i do often - so takes time - and i am not doing the physical work - my good friend Quickie did it - i was directing it as much as i can -

led lights are done - reset cable done - speaker done - the only thing i didnt connect which i think has to do with the case led lighting -

had two plugs and one power looking one - not sure where they went or how etc, - manual dosnt say - so i dont think my case led lights will work -

dont care if it dosnt - i have my own led strips connected to the MB - so should be fine - unless one of those need to go to the PSU to power it - in that case - nothing will work when i push the power button -

i find out soon - not going crazy over it just yet - if it rains tomorrow - then i stay home to tinker with it - if not i leave it for another day to power it on and hope it boots :joint

That case is empty!

When are you putting in all the stuff?

t looks like mine. But missing all the fancy memory sticks LEDs, and two water radiators, and a water cooled graphics card 8SSDs 2 NVMes etc.

You really should have gone water. And still can in the future when you get a card when prices make sense.

I agree BM, whenever me and my Brother build a PC we always do a test fire to make sure everything's seated correctly.

i will fire it up today for better or for worse -

nothing in there - thats how i wanted it - clean neat fast and cool hopefully

there is no blink - i added two light strips - i didnt want my memory flashing or fans lighted up - two led strips is enough to light the case i would think

the MB has some build in led if i am not mistaken - i have 1T M2 on the board for the OS - which i hope to do today - if that works out -

i will remove my 2 2T each WD drives from Old setup - and add another 2T M2 in the rear of the MB - connect the 2T SSD in the rear of the case - i added it but not connected it yet -

if all works today - will finish it tomorrow with rest of the drives and thats it - then i can replace my old tired intel and take my time to get used to a new computer - and new OS

i didnt want water cooler this time - its going to be Quiet now - no pump noise - no worry about failed pump or Rad etc, i done it a few times before - its nice its cool - dont really need a water cool setup - it should be very cool running - that cooler is good for 200 TDP

my chip runs cooler than most at 65 watt - we shall see - if you dont hear from - you know it blew up :o

That wont do 4k. You need a 3080 or 3090. Remember its FOUR TIMES as many pixels as 1080P. So you need a huge 4x the graphics power.

Graphics card prices may not come down if ever, or it might be 2025-26 they start to drop. :fencing This is going by what Jay2cents and Carey Holzman are saying. We shall see!
