Looks nice and good job....

However there is a certain irony in choosing to make it a John Deere lookalike as inspired by this board.....

John Deere has pissed off and frustrated a great many farmers in the past few years because they are selling equipment with HIGHLY locked down non-serviceable electronics and computer modules that can only be serviced by official John Deere factory trained and certified technicians working for Official Dealers.... (at John Deere specified retail prices....)

Farmers have a long history and tradition of DIY repairs of the "whatever it takes to get the crops in" sort - and this locked down approach does not sit at all well, so they are one of the major user groups working in the Right-to-Repair movement....

How do you finance construction projects?
You are very rich, or I'm very poor...

finance -is pension,rich is perception?
10 years of collecting 2nd hand chairs/parts,at the right time/price.
time with the drill, welder, grinder and shed also help.
stainless chair material all came from scrap shop,e.g.
note the marine boarding ladder made into armrest assy, canopy bow made into footrest, etc.
ebay ,for wheels, bearing and bolt shop visited a few times.second hand batteries.
back to the chair ,it goes well in soft sand and have not yet been able to test in water,
it should be good for 2ft deep,as long as we have no leaks.

I like the monocoque construction method used by yourself and william clark.
Can you indicate the make and model of motor gearbox used on this chair?

the motor/gearbox assy are out of a mwd magic mobility chair.
rwd, mwd, fwd motor are the same just mounted opposite sides to suit output offset.chair layout.
10kph, cylinder shape assy, seem to have good torque.
