That's really interesting! It was caused by seismic activity on Iwo Jima. The video does not show whether the entire ground bubbled up to the surface, or whether it was really forceful water that pushed the hulks into the beach.

No I'm wrong... it is not from Iwo Jima activity, it is a little volcanic island nearby, more like a sea-level mud patch, that is erupting. So more likely the sea bed/island popping up out of the water has just pushed those wrecks up
