Curtiss 1208-C controller

Postby mrgus2u » 27 Jun 2022, 06:03

Any info on programming this one is appreciated.
Can it be programmed with the 1314 software? Or do i need the hand programmer? Is there a Curtiss controller, but microprocessor based, that can replace it without changing the harness?

As far as I am aware the 1208 is not programmable.

Replacing it with a another make / model will entail changing the part of the wiring loom that plugs into the controller.

The Curtis 1228 or a Penny & Giles ( Curtiss Wright ) S-Drive are both suitable replacements.

You can easily modify a 24pin ATX plug to fit either of the above mentioned controllers by cutting off just one end ....you will of course need to wire this in place of the 1208 plug.

Where do you get these manuals from?
I'm interested in all that exist.
I want to form a library.
