Hi Woody, i purchased an s-drive programming cable from you a while back, which has served me well. I now need to program my latest scooter through the charging port. is it possible that you can give me the pinout for the charge port programming. i.e. connections on the four pin plug that i have go to which pins on the round charging port.
Thanks in advance,
Bob.

Are you certain that your new scooter uses an S-Drive?

Hi,
I have a Sterling S700 scooter which I bought second hand. How would I go about purchasing leads to program the S Drive unit inside? Any info about software would also be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

I can supply you with a lead or it is possible to construct one yourself.

Hi Woody,

I bought one of your leads around June of 2021. worked perfectly for my S-Drive conversion on a Sterling diamond mobility scooter, I have recently bought a Drive sport rider with a Rhino2 controller, firstly, could the same lead be used to program? and secondly, I believe I would need the dynamics wizard software to do this, I know there is a "modified" version somewhere, does this negate the need for the dongle?

Hi Jeff,

The S-drive lead is NOT compatible with the Rhino2.

The hacked Wizard software doesn't require a dongle.

Hi Woody,

Thanks, is it possible to make up the leads and obtain the software?

the delay when starting and acceleration is so poor, it's embarrassing when someone lets you cross and looks like you're taking the mick.

The parts that you already have will not help.

I can however make you an interface that will do both the S-Drive ( plus VR2 , Vsi ,Pilot+ , Egris and SOLO ) and the Dynamic Rhino2 / Shark...A switch is used to select which make either PGDT or Dynamic .

£35 incl postage ...payment once I have one made.

It will however take me a little time to complete one as I do not think that I have all the parts kicking around, so I may need to order some.

Hello Woody,
I have a very old Roma Sirocco and an even older Pride PD11, both of which are amazingly still working well after all these years!
Both wheelchairs use the same PG Drives Controller.
I made a USB>Molex programming cable many years ago from a diagram you published and that was fine, but unfortunately it has been misplaced and lost.
I no longer have the ability to manufacture another owing to my disabilities and I would be deeply grateful if I was able to purchase a replacement from you.
I am not worried about the cost and can pay you by Direct Bank Transfer or by PayPal as you so prefer.
I still hold the PG Drives software (SK76982/7).
Regards, Simon.

Good afternoon Woody.
You made me a very useful programming lead for my VSIs and VR2s a few years ago. Can you make me a similar thing for my mother's scooter as it is far too sluggish for her to cross the road in. I will need the software too. :worship
The scooter is a Freerider Mayfair, its controller is a Rhino II.
Can it be programmed through the XLR?

Hi Jennifer,

I have one here ...it is a dual programming interface that will be suitable for most P.G.D.T controllers and the Dynamic Rhino2.

I do not know if you can program via the 3 pin XLR ...you would have to try and see.

Note the interface comes with both a 3 pin XLR and a 4 pin Molex connection option.

Cheers Woody

Thank you so much, Woody. The dual dongle works beautifully. Turns out it wasn't a Rhino at all, though it was a Dynamic Drives controller. The Wizard isn't intuitive, but the explanatory notes are good and I did improve some of the more annoying things. I have to think more about whether the machine is able to speed up any more, perhaps more Volts to the motor, if it can take it.
