Above, 6mph, 4 pole, (best of all speeds) set from little used newish chair. This company strips chairs for parts. £300 a set. From a JIVE which has a bigger bolt PCD than the Q series chairs.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334671252710
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334671252712
Left, right £70 each 6mph 4 pole for Q series chairs.

GET THEM NOW while available at this price. They will dissapear fast.

I just bought a set, 2 motors as new £150 the pair.
I also bought this below.
Its NOT a lighting module. The seller is a dummy. Its a lighting, + 6 channel seating module same as on my Q700 and Salsa chairs. I now have 3 spares. Its an ISM6L so 6 channel plus lighting. I offered £20. :argument was up for a VERY short time. As all bargains are.

I watch ebay all the time. When theres a bargain esp if they are hard to find for a year at a time I BUY. My shelf is full of cheap spares. Enough to build 3 full all singing/dancing R-Net powerchairs! Cables, joysticks, battery looms, motors, etc.

I had seen them and was waiting on the seller's reply to an offer. I bought them on my 2nd offer of £60 each.

There's also a set of 6MPH motors for a Q300 but I wasn't aware they were ever available for this model and the numbers are different on the labels to those offered from a Q500.

I also bought the Q500 battery cable.

Bargain.

Theres a mid drive Q700 here with the expensive lift/tilt module, 4 pole 6mph which is as new. A 12K chair for 2k...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334659367490

Another bargain. It ideally needs power recline, and power legs for the fully loaded option. But theres a power footrest as new on there for that chair for 400. Then you can sell the non powered centre plate. Plug and play.

As long as you can stand mid drive chairs. And I personally cant. But for anyone that can...

Yeah, I saw that. Unfortunately it's still nearly 2K over priced for me. Even for free I'd have to decline.

Mind you, I'm still disliking using my Q700R for anything other than blasting down to the pub on a dry day only. Any damp or wet about and it's almost impossible to navigate around the pub so it goes nowhere else with me until I get the boat float locked up. It's certainly not a patch on my usual chair that is pin point in every condition.

Also,in your pics different watts, and different ratios, and different RPMs.
But I suspect that as long as you fit as a pair the same it will make no difference.

If I had the money right now I would order another new salsa, with single post arms, P shaped jay tops, 120A r-net, CJSM2, lift, tilt, recline, centre power foortrest, in black (custom) and with narrow/small headrest.

And then change things a little. I would then modify in the exact same way as my current salsa and have a pair of identical chairs. https://www.wheelchairdriver.com/board/ ... 00#p122818
They cease taking any more orderd end of january. After that its no longer available.

Yes, that's my point though. The pictures I posted aren't a pair but are advertised as the same motors when clearly they aren't.

The lower RPM motor is apparently 6MPH from a Q500
The higher RPM motor is apparently 6MPH from a Q300.

Without a doubt way better than the newer Q700 that is way too long and floats like a dinghy on a wave machine but looks better.

Yes, I bought the higher wattage, lower RPM motors but would have the others too if I thought they were right.

I have some 8mph jive ones. And some 6mph Q700 ones. They are really similar. The main difference is the sticker with the data, and the output adapter. Both are 3 bolt. But the Q chairs are a smaller PCD than the Jive. And the wheels are different. I do not know if the wheel hubs can be just swapped over. I think they will but not tested that.

The 8mph ones are 35mOhm, the 6mph ones are 45mOhm. So you would need to adjust that in programming.

Watts mean very little. RPM on the sets in your pics is so close as to make no difference. As long as both are the same!

I have bought them only as a spare set for my Q700R that's currently running 8MPH motors, so a straight swop and a copy and paste of my other chair's programming also running 6MPH motors.

I'm just not sure those other 6MPH motors for sale would be suitable and are definitely 6MPH motors and not actually 4MPH.

I have both side by side and the salsa looks better... ONLY after my finishing off, and :hammer etc. Such as seat back, headrest mount, black paint etc. Looks much better. Have a close look at the pics here https://www.wheelchairdriver.com/board/ ... 00#p122818

Looks are subjective. I'm currently sitting in a Salsa and it looks dated in comparison to my Q700R.

No, so does yours. Your Q700R looks better than your Salsa, it just drives abysmally in comparison.

No mention of 6MPH motors on a Q300. At least not offered from a Sunrise order form.

But it says 6, 8, 10kph on the page. Under specs.
And the parts number is the same as the 6mph Q500, Q700 here?

250289 Motor assembly 10 kph 4-pole standard MWD/FWD = right, RWD = left
And 250288

Are the correct part numbers listed for the Q300 4pole 6.5mph motors.

The 300 is sold as a narrow version. The 6mph option is 2 pole because when used with the skinny 12 inch whhels and smaller batts they can get width down to 550mm. If you want 4 pole, 6mp then you probably need to ask as its a "build for me" thing. Like the CJSM2 and the 120 power module, and the black paint, and the power centre footrest was on my salsa. But its definitely listed under Q300 parts. And it has the same part number as the Q700 Q500 does. You would need to add the 120A power module too to gain any torque over the 2 pole ones.

See them there but as that's the latest concept Mini Q300 they might well be quite a bit newer than what is for sale. The seller can ascertain the age of the motors available for clarification and authenticity.

Yes, I know all this bumpf but I'm talking about a pair of secondhand motors for sale and their genuine specifications.
