Permobil calculated to the last mm. You'll see the battery terminals are NOT supposed to pass through. You have 195mm headroom only.

My 160Ah pack reached the same height as the gel battery.
Insulation : 4mm top & bottom , 10mm between layers.

Thats crazy tight. BCI group sizes are "nominal" and many GRP 24 batteries are a little bit taller or wider or longer. So that must cause issues even swapping to various different lead replacement batteries. Probably part of permo bills get rich scheme. You have to use their b$tt$ries to be sure it will actually fit in...
