There are no points assign buttons cjsm2

I installed the cjsm2 remote control, but the "assign buttons" and "softkey" items did not appear in the firmware.
What should I do to make these items appear?

What software are you using?
Not every manufacturers software has the ability.
And if thats the case the firmware and the setings file already on the chair will not show this.

Send me a copy of your settings file, add it here.

Those in north america will be amused to see that this chair is yet another rear drive option that they dont have. Or do they?

I added KEYMAPPING to this PART settings file.
It SHOULD work. Keep old profile just in case!

This is just a small selection of changes. Write this with your PC software TO THE CHAIR.
Then read a FULL settings file FROM the chair and now the ability to map buttons should exist...

I changed absolutely nothing else.

Comment. Unrelated.
I have absolutely no idea how its even possible to drive any chair with your driving settings under the SPEED section. That is about as bad as its possible to set anything! How on earth can you control a chair with those turn acceleration and deceleration settings. Frankly that dangerous.

Comment 2. Unrelated.
Power module is too small for a 6mph rer drive chair. It will lack torque making true linear control impossible and curb climbing or turn in place unpredictable...

ADD THIS TO THE CHAIR. AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
Open it from the file menu in the program.

Yes, I agree, I can't set up the chair properly. My fingers don't work.

What should I do? Change the module?

I hope my wheelchair won't break? Can I install the old firmware?
Open it from the file menu in the program.

Now I have taken this firmware and changed all the parameters in it to my own. Will it work?

On Magic Mobility I can't assign buttons and never managed to get them working. Depends of firmware. I don't get the point of removing that feature.

Try adding that same file I just posted above.
If its a TRUE CJSM2 hen it should, as per PG Drives advertising and brochure have mappable and programmable buttong IF you configure it correctly.
I have a permobil, power module/and CJSM2 joystick that didnt have it. And got that working.
Also didnt exist on John Carols Q300. Now it does. Sadly now he now no longer exists though...

Dont know. Dont add that as there may be some HIDDEN parameters that are set different... We have DEALER and OEM but there are also deeper lvels we dont have that configure very technical stuff that can be different. Anything could happen. Including complete lock up... It might work. Not worth the risk.

I suggest you add the single control set in the file I added earier.
HOW:

OPEN the 6.4 OEM version of the program.
From the top menu bar select FILE > OPEN and navigate to wherever you put the new file above!
Select it. And you will then see ONLY the important bit. Very limited settings. Send it to the chair. Thats the only option you will have all other settings will be missing.

Then disconnect everything. Exit the software. Turn the chair off. And then reopen the program, connect back to the chair and grab your dettings file and take a look. It SHOULD now exist in your chairs settings. Dont change its extention!

OK. I have a question for you. Its not related to your fingers. Its just logic.

You are driving towards a gap. Maybe a curb one side and a lamp post. Or a doorway. Doesent matter. As you roll, you see that you need to correct your path some by turning left maybe 6 or 7 degrees. So you command some "left" into the chair. To correct your path to hit this doorway. Gap. Whatever.
Now the question. Think very carefully!

1. Do you want the chair to stop turning and then roll straight once you tell it. So as soon as you release that "left" command it then goes straight. So you see its now heading in the right direction to hit that doorway/gap and then stops turning further when you say so.

2. Or do you want it to continue turning left long after you told it to stop turning? Even if you now add full right! And it cannot be stopped from continuing this left turn. This may happen for some seconds, maybe 2 to 5 full seconds.

Which? 1 or 2?

1 option

In order that the chair stops turning when you centre the stick or apply opposite turn, then MINIMUM TURN DECELERATION and TURN DECELERATION must be at 100. Or at least 90. Yours is in the 40 range. Set that way the chair continues to turn for several seconds AFTER you wanted it to stop turning...

When I set any chair at 40 to 50 turn DECEL and turn MIN DECEL I cannot hit a doorway, or steer it properly! And find it dangerous.

Try to leave every setting ar you had it before and ONLY set these two high.

Did you add that file yet???

Good day to everyone. I did as you said, but the items did not appear in the firmware. But if I edit your file and stitch the stroller, then additional buttons appear on the joystick and I can control it. But only the display buttons work. The steering levers are not adjustable (. I wanted the gearshift lever to lower and raise the seat back when pressed for a long time. Maybe I didn't include something?

Why can this be? Because of the wheelchair module? Or because of the joystick?

Because the guy that wrote the firmware that runs the joystick, and the firmware on the power module doesent have this functionality because the code for it doesent exist. That may be because of reasons we dont know or just because he didnt think it was a good idea.

You mean you want me to post this?
Not sure what you are asking?

Not sure how that will help you unless you have a switch box?
Or if it will work.
