It's link to API and drivers for Sontheim's devices. And will not work with any other devices. If you have some Sontheim's device you can try

I got communication to controller. I can change parameters (OEM version). I did not try rewrite firmware. I have Win Vista32 on my laptop and i did not try any other system.
I'm not at home now, so i can show only parameter file.

I was hoping to obtain a 1314 dealer version...and use the files with the OEM prog.

I can post my dll file, if it help some body. But i gues, another device from ebay, you show picture, more powerfull. It has 32 bit processor. Mine only 8 bit. And when program is running CPU usage almost 100%.
I was trying to contact seller at ebay about dll for this CAN converter and some info about input commands, but did not get nothing.

Who bought this device - what you get with: dll, manual, etc.?

I had with mine manual for dll on Chinese.

I'm not big specialist in programming. It was my first dll-programming.

Sorry. I don't know Sontheim CAN interface.
I used manual for I+ME LevelX Driver Library (1314 PCPS uses it's API) to find all output functions and translated it to input functions for my device's dll.
Do you have some manuals from Sontheim?

I think that is my problem. I can get the driver to show "working" but can't seem to get it to connect. No lights on the CAN or anything when I try to connect to the 1314 software. The only time I get any lights are when I use the API test program to make em flash. I've gone back, deleted/reinstalled and started from scratch to see if it made a difference and it did not. Same errors as before. Almost seems worth trying to get Southern to sell me the dealer software just to get the exact drivers I need. Almost...

I have a Pride repair guy coming by today to fix a hydraulic/spring issue so I'm tucking away my toys for now and maybe pick his brain while he is here with hypotheticals.

Also, if it matters I'm running Windows 7 64bit and a PC powerful enough to push about anything. Maybe I'll try to run the 1314 in XP mode to see if it makes a difference. Doubt it but when you've tried everything else, lol.

If so, try communicate to controller. Speed 250 kbps. And see can you get answer?

I received a previous model handheld programmer and a CANUSB cable in an anti-static bag. Nothing more. They were a "gift" as it were so even though I hinted at some programming I felt I was pushing it a little and just said Thank You in the end.
Any ideas where I might find a debugging program that might work?

So it would seem sensible .. for those that haven't already got an interface ..to ask for his program mods and then to follow his lead and purchase the USB to CAN Bus Converter that he linked to..

Twinpanther, your Pride/Quantum USB cable should work with 1314 PCPS.
Try 32 bit system.

Yup, been playing with CANexplorer 4 but only allowed DEMO mode and it is a bit over my head as having never played with anything like this before.
I tried running it as XP but it was a no go and since I have to fix my mother-in-laws laptop I'll install it on that after I get a fresh XP 32bit installed on it to see if it helps/works.
Like I mentioned earlier, my cable was a "gift" (take that as from an unidentifiable source) and is a pride cable direct from them.

1314 PCPS has own output parameters. NetPorty dll has same input parameters.
Other devices have own dll's. Every dll has different input parameters from 1314 PCPS.
In my situation i wrote middle dll between 1314-output and "my_device".ddl-input

If I use the link "as posted"

If I try to use the link "stripped" to just "http://www.yourfilelink.com/" which works to get into many sites, followed by drilling down to the desired place, I get
