Note that the same lead ...slightly different wiring config ..will program the Scooter controllers....

Note ...I have done the scooter lead conversion but I'm not now sure of the diode arrangement.

So ...if you want a pic of the probable arrangement private message me with your email addy.

BTW ..If you have the SOLO ,Egris etc controller software I'd be interested in it.

I can't guarantee it ..and it's only 1p cheaper ... after P&P.. than the one I linked to ...which is also one that I bought recently and it worked for me when tested on a VSI controller that I use for this purpose.

Thanks for the info...

I've just been reliably informed that the PGDT software WILL work and program any Solo / Egis controller with the correct conversion loom (which i should be getting my hands on)

The adaptor I have already made and can communicate with the Solo BUT the software will not program it.

It needs :-

Interesting... A contact of mine only uses one software package from PGDT, and he says it does them all without an issue!

You have a PM anyway.

There is no PM in my INBOX
Should you friend have the TAG files for SOLO etc etc ...or the software ...I would be very happy to have them.

I think that I have ZAPI software kicking around somewhere on this puter ...as I recall it installed correctly and is functional.. but I have never used it.

... As for Curtis, i will or should only need to be able to connect to a 1228 Scooter controller (if that makes any difference)

It would be easier to just make the USB lead.

I will however revisit ( sometime ) the Scooter - Powerchair conversion adapter.

Well I did revisit the concept yesterday...and YES you can add a Neutrik plug to the Scooter lead...

I have just tried your link Software: http://filebin.ca/qeVD8PXcQ5p/oem_programmer.zip opened it up in a new tab OR TRIED TO and all I get is a BLANK WHITE PAGE :? I know it`s not my browser because I have also tried to open it in IE & Firefox and get same results
Will you try the link yourself to see what is BROKEN and post back please.
Kinda hoping that I had finally found some programming software at last.

Arthur ..I doubt that you'll get an answer from Bushytail as he hasn't signed in since :Thu Sep 12, 2013 12:05

PGDT take a dim view of people distributing their programmer software ..so I suspect they've requested it's deletion.

If you right click, then save to desktop you get an incomplete ZIP file.

But no worries he now found a copy.

There appears to be NO SET colour for the wires ...the wire colours seem to vary depending on the whim of the Chinese supplier of the cable.

Popping the case is the only way to be absolutely sure.... you should however be able to identify the earth wire using a multimeter and check continuity between the metal USB housing and the various wires that you have once the plug is cut off.

You then have a 50-50 chance of getting the diode in the correct wire. ... NO harm will become anything if you have the TX /RX the wrong way around.

Will this cable your describing work on Jazzy 6000 power chair? Also, I found an older copy of the programming software that will only work on Windows XP I believe, downloaded from this link: http://www.yourfilelink.com/get.php?fid=786915 will this software also work for a Jazzy 6000?

Thank you for the link you provided on my other post!

How do I identify which controller my Jazzy has? The only numbers I see on the joystick are: DWR1234L799 Rev C

Also, my joystick connector is a Neutrik connector, so according to the manual that came with that software link you gave me, it should be either a Pilot+ or VSI...?

IF it is a VR2 ..so you'll want the "Kenwood" radio type USB lead and the relevant software.

Has it got 3 pins in the charger / programmer socket or 5 pins ( 3 + 2 small )?

Edit ..it appears to be Curtis

YUP thats it! Any idea which software version I would want to use with that controller? I downloaded both versions you linked. Also, is the Kenwood style cable still what I'd want to use with this controller?

The socket on the joystick itself has the 3 larger holes and two smaller holes on top, the connector on the charger only has the 3 larger pins.

And THANK YOU so much for your help, I GREATLY appreciate it!!
