Hadn't thought of that! Ok so it'd be £83 in total for the surface post option? I'm in no hurry for them.

Rims are light , but thick packing may add quite some weight . 7kg is my rough guess .

All have to wait till I received them .

Will Paypal you a REQUEST FOR MONEY then .

Espresso , 3.50-8 is really good for city ride , and it looks the prettiest . :D

thanks shirley - i let you work with BM and Steve - take care of them - when its all done - we talk about mines - dont want to confuse everyone - or myself dosnt take long :)

3.50 - 8 - is the rim for me - thats the size you like to get for me - that would be like a deep dish look - ? then i add a tire to it - i like to pick one that nice but not too much higher so maybe i can keep my fender on it

now that i am talking 8 inch again - i have to think - since i have 8 inch rims now - and they do look good also - just not tubeless - but i can fit a 3.50 8 tire on my stock rim right ?

i would still want the rims anyway - when your done with the others - but i want to work with you when your done so i know when you show me a rim or a tire - its for me and can ask a question then -

i searched all over and find them there only really - china - UK etc, - cant translate the page - so i never bothered - or rather cant anyway if i cant read it :)

yes shirley - those looks nice and are better - nice combo - but they do look big - wide - would those fit my chair - same way as my originals fit ?

or its just the picture makes it look big

keep those on bookmark - when ready to get mines - maybe those are the ones to get :)

how tall would this be on my chair ? 14 inch , 15 inch high ? how much wider would it be overall ?

Not this style . 10" rims have 4" wide .

Only hanger rims like yours . 1/3 of the price .

Would the 2.75 inch rim be easier to replace the tyres?

Messed up .

No 2.75 such width .

Mine is 2.5" wide , perfect for 3.00 - 10 tyre .

The edge of the rim and the tyre's sidewall looks on the same plane . No bulging at all .

To get a flat sidewall, you always need a rim that is 1/2 narrower than the tyre. Because the rim bead is 1/4 inch wide.

ok - it looks like alot of sidewall - the height of the tire is much higher than the stock tire ?

would i be able to get a tire 3-50 8 but keep the sidewall about the same as stock size ? to keep the fender on the chair -

A 3.00 tyre is 3 inches tall, 3 inches wide.
A 3.50 tyre is 3.5 inch wide, 3.5 inches tall. Top, and bottom. In both cases you add the 8 inch wheel.

Metric tyres are different.

A 100/80 - 8 is:
100mm wide. (4 inches)
80% of 100 tall so 80mm tall top and bottom. (3.5 inches)

A 90/80 tyre is then...
90 wide or 3.75 inches
And 80% of 90 tall... OR about 78mm or 3 and 1/8 and a bit inches.

So this last tyre would be a little wider than a a 3.50 at 3.75. And the same height (tiny fraction bigger) as a stock 3.00 tyre.

EG https://www.mobilitypitstop.com/product ... oter-tyre/

And there are others. But ideally it needs a slightly wider rim. At around 2.75 inches. It will FIT your stock rim but will look narrower and be pinched in slightly.

Or 80/80 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/80-80-x-8-Bla ... 1674257970 is 3.15 wide and slightly smaller diameter than a 3.00 tyre...

Ok so a 3.50 8 would be good - only 1/2 taller - may just fit under the fender - but when i see the pictures - they look so much taller in the pictures -

to keep the same height - i need to find a 90/80 tire like you linked too - if i find that size - it would fit my stock rim but wider bulging - but would work -

if i go tubeless with Shirleys rims - same idea

EG https://www.mobilitypitstop.com/product ... oter-tyre/

They are not common. Made just for scooters I think. So not strong construction.

these that shirley found for me - look nice - just seems alot taller than my stock tire - maybe its the pictures that give me this impression -

80 /80 look nice - and would fit under the fender so nothing to do - either on my stock rim with a tube or with tubeless rims from shirley
