Well it all works regardless. But if noisy fans bother you or you want to charge slower then you can leave it at 50 and just choose a lower amp charge rate.

Work out what will happen like this:

If you charge at 28.20V for MK x 12Amps thats = 338 watts. You just multiply the numbers to get watts. Plus about 10% losses due to heat/fans etc.

So if your power supply is set to 12V then you just divide that 338 (+10% 34w extra so now = 372w,) by the 12V to give Amps. So its going to need 31 approx Amps.

In my country, buying from taobao is quite easy and free of all tax/fee. Shipping cost is just a few dollars. You need a truly free and fair trade like our 'socialism' :argument

I would agree except that a free system without taxes is actually called capitalism. The reason you can now buy and sell is because you are transitioning from a socialist economy to one that is allowing the enemy, capitalism, in limited but increasing amounts. Its why things are improving over time in your country.

The reason we get ripped off is because we stupidly joined the EU, a closed shop system with impossible regulations and endless rules. A stupid socialist non democratic interfering dictatorship run by a controlling non elected bunch of left wing socialists that are trying to recreate a socialist superstate like the cold war communist Soviet setup... We all know that worked out just great :clap The marxist dream of total equality never works and sends everyone bankrupt and starving but theres always an endless stream of new idiots that think it can And thats why I recently voted for brexit to get away from that moronic vision, its crap! And get back to running our own country properly.

Did you know that the non elected socialist EU have 108 regulations on how to manufacture/trade a pillow? And 15 more on the pillow case? And 50 more on the toothbrush? Seriously. :fencing banghead

:ebay
Here is what you'll get :

PSU £40 / £20 (used)
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a2 ... t=6#detail

The mod kit £10.
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=544251656554

Another £20 , if you love a fency alu case
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=20 ... 1094582108

Add £30.00 surface postage from HK to UK .

The fun part is the modification process itself . I'll translate the mod description into English , so you can follow through .

I was unsure of my ability so I opted for the least investment £30.00 in total (used psu ).

If I ordered the PSU+mod, how hard is it to install the mod? I usually get my Brother to fit and solder things, but he doesn't have a lot of patience if things don't go as expected :cussing

I find this part is the hardest , because the components are really small, 1 X 2 mm . Just remove 3 and re-solder 2. Have to work under a magnifing glass .

A neddle-sharp soldering tip too.
