Ricon Lift

Postby geordie graham » 04 Dec 2013, 15:23

I have a Ricon lift fitted to my Merc Sprinter van which was working perfect until last week when the hand held wireless controllers stopped working, both of them. The lift still works using the wired in controller. It`s as if the controllers and lift have lost their wireless connection.Any body have any ideas.

Other than the obvious fuses and resetting things, not really. Wherever the receiver is, it may have died.

Second the check for fuses and connections - presumably there is some sort of module that recieves the remote signals and sends them to the lift, make sure that module is getting power, and verify it's connections to the lift - seems like where the problem would need to be...

The other 'dummy check' question - which is somewhat unlikely given that both remotes are failing is whether you have a problem with the batteries in the remotes...
