Hi,
I just found this forum and thought I would say hello before jumping in with some questions. My son has cerebral palsy and uses a chair. He is just starting to use a power chair at school that uses a single switch scanning system via an R-NET OMNI lcd controller (the switch is hand held, like an old school slide advancer). As you can imagine, it takes him a while to manoeuvre. He can't keep his arms down or bring his hands together to use a joystick, but at home he plays complex games on his PS3 via a Frag FX splitfish evolution controller (it's like a ps3 gamepad split into 2 parts). SO, I am wondering if it might be possible to set up some sort of palm/hand held control system (either via existing equipment or DIY) with a joypad or micro joystick he can move with his thumb.
Anyway. I'll get to that later. For now I am just over the moon to see that this support network exists!
Hello from up north in the UK.
