For comparison, here's my charge graph from todays charge... Set balancing to start from 3.40v and terminates at 95mA.

Steve, looks fine as is but set to 3.5v balance and see if that wiggly unbalanced part goes away next charge, and set termination to 500thC. (150mA)

And balance accuracy to 4mV.

Haha expresso, I like tight ones! :D

@BM, here's my previous charge graph with balancing from 3.50v.

Will up the termination to 150mA on my next charge.

Whats happening is that the 3.4 balance is unbalancing it, so it rebalances at the top. So you get the uneven lines at the top of the graph as it rebalances it again.

The 3.5 balance one is actually better, as almost no balancing was needed at the top where it matters.

But both are pretty good.

Thats fine.

42Ah is what you will get from a lead grp24 till red lights on a faster chair like yours.

Was that the wedding?

Shopping, car cleaning, gardening, vacuuming, cleaning, and now weddings, all eat extraordinary amounts of power compared to driving straight and covering distance. Its one of the reasons a specific claimed range isnt very helpful.

Notice slope right/left towards the road.
Image

This above will give you HALF the range or less that this following image will give on a typical rear drive chair -- the transverse slope makes the chair head downwards. It takes a LOT of power to stop that continually:

no i took a ride yesterday - the wedding was night before - but i didnt charge after - i hardly used much at the wedding - but like you said - turning - here and there - at the wedding so i used some i am sure - but nothing i was concerned about -
if i was going out alone for a lonnng ride - then i would have charged again before i went out - but if i am with someone and know they dont want to go too far - so no reason to charge to do 13 miles - thats nothing :)

BM - can you show me a video - if you have something i can compare a 1080P 30 = Vs 1080p 60 Fps - i am considering getting another camera but 1080p 60 - i found the same one i have now but 1080p 60 which i didnt see before -

i like to see what big difference if i can notice between the two

All mine are 60.

Set it to 720, 30, then 720 60, and do the same vid as you scan the camera around...

Compare.

ok hard to notice a huge difference from Youtube - do you know of any decent models that are night time also ? besides go pro models - - i mean i only paid 58 dollars for mines and its well worth it for what it does -

the 1080p 60 i believe its another 30 dollars - i didnt see those modes before so now that i see how the camera works - i like it so far - considering getting the 1080p60 - and giving this one to my friend who rides also - he likes it also -

i dont want to get another one and then find a better one for silimar price - so many of them hard to choose from -

i have to try that - its going to rain here for a few days - next time i go out - will do 720p 60 - i cant seem to find 1080p 60 - same camera - it says it does - but the details say 30 for 1080p and 60 for 720 - its a bit tricky and it does 4K -

52Ah returned, About 48Ah used. 20.6 miles covered.

So 41 miles range, if you used 96Ah leaving a safe 9Ah in reserve.

Or 2.33Ah used per mile. 105Ah pack div by 2.33 = 45.06 miles total till you stop with a dead battery.

With the addon, thats 36Ah div 2.33 = 15.4 + 45.06 = 60.4 miles total range.

i was going at full speed most of the time - 8.5 mph - it took about 3 1/2 hours i didnt time it - i wasnt planning this today - i had a few things to do first and then i decided to take a ride - but didnt expect to go this far today -

but before i knew it i was there - so now i know a better way to get there - smoother road - and different way from the first time i went with the other chair - i still have to go up and down a few hills easy - NYC has alot of hills - up down sideways

those hills take alot of juice out - and still i manage a decent range - so its safe to do 30 miles easy with no worries and even up to 40 miles - with just the 105 ah chair - i think - we see - i videoed it also at 720P 60 Fps - but dont like it -

1080p 30 is much better to my eyes and will leave it there from now on - i will process them and upload to my Youtube channel - - if anyone wants to see them - they can there - at expresso4712 - youtube channel -

instead of me posting the links all the time in the video section - i havent really done anything special with videos but its ok to watch - something different - new for me -

that sounds nice 60 miles - i stopped right at the bridge - talking to one of the bikers there - to ask etc - theres a nice park i am told right over the bridge in NJ - maybe i take a few mins to explore it once i cross it - i have to feel this out -
i am sure to be doing this trip a few times easy - will try my best to video it slowly when i feel the conditions are right - hopefully theres enough room for me and the bikes - people etc,

i will try this without the extra ADD ON 36ah first - reason is if i want to video it with my chair all the way up seat lift - have to go slow then - have no choice - but the ADD ON i have - -i dont think the cable is long enough to reach my chair if i raise up all the way - - so if i every do use the ADD ON with the chair - i may not be able to raise my seat up all the way - i havnt tried it - but the cable dosnt seem long enough - this was never factored in when i made the cable -

yes i can make a longer cable - but i am not in a rush to do any more work now :) i want to just ride like the wind - to be free again - if i see it too short - i may make a longer one in the winter - or just not raise the seat - when its connected

at BM - that horn a while back you said you were getting one - 24 V loud horn - did you ever get it - attach it ? whats your take on it - i have to add a real horn to my chair - not in the mood to do it now - but in the winter i want to do it - or i may practice and add it to the other chair to the ADD ON 36ah pack to test it - before doing it to this chair -

whats your take on it - ?

Tested and very loud. But physically bigger than it looked. So may not fit it. Still laid on my bed so cant anyway!

I have a more mileage freindly green chair to test, since its a 6.2mph (now 7 with bigger low rolling resistance radial tyres/wheels) chair to test. With 120Ah life battery. That should also get 55 to 60 miles without addon.

If you were closer I would challenge you! I am heavier so likely work out the same?

sorry to hear - i though you were out of bed already - hopefully soon -

too big - that sucks - i was planning to mount it under my seat pan - run the wires to the battery pack and a toggle switch to activate it or a push button - does it come with something to activate it ? would i have to push button device or toggle etc, ?

if i do - what can i use ? if you know any off the top of your head - if i do a search for one - what feq. do i need to search for - high and low combined - but is there a certain range i should get - i really do need a loudddd horn here in NYC -
the one i have is hardly working - even though its loud i think - but its the sound it makes - with the NYC noise - drowns it out and people just think its another sound noise - not that someone is behind them or coming up etc,

they hear it and just look up if they even bother - they are too involved in there phone texting - you see the videos - its annoying when your trying to get by - if you happen to come across a smaller size one - or the one that Centry 21 boulder uses which they wont sell to me - and its very expensive also -

i have to try something else i want to get attention and part the sea so i can ride by :D
