You need:
A USB to serial adapter unless your PC is old.
A programming cable that you need to make - its easy.
A Dwiz adapt possibly. Depends on the controller. Some have that built in.

i already bought the dwiz cable and a dwiz adapt, now i need to connect them with my laptop, unfortunatly mine is new one, so i guess what's left is a USB to serial adapter, what you think about these:

http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Cable-Assemblies-Smart-Cables-CABLE-USB-DB9-MALE-RS232-10CM-/282287592581?hash=item41b9a6d485:g:~qMAAOSwnHZYTO4y

Do they work ?

anyway, i was wondering if my storm has a lighting module in it, on the joystick i got all the necessary buttons and flashing leds..same thing with the lift, should it be only activated somehow, or do i need much more than that..sorry if i interfered in your subject

Any luck alloy brazing the rings you made for wheel centres on Brushless wheel mod.
If yes which make of rods did you use.

Nope, sprayed 2 coats of black wrinkle paint, and fitted them. They are a perfect fit, don't look pretty but they are unseen.

Yes. Invacare, latest as used on Storm 4 Explore, with the same brushless controller.

Cool chair. Have you watched the promo video on the website? lmao. It looks and sounds like a Paul Oakenfold music video. Let us know how smooth a ride it is.

The manual for the storm 4 says the seat height with the raiser can go as low as 40CM. Is that true? The Quickie Salsa M seat height is 47CM, the difference would mean a lot for me.

Seat height *** (with lifter)

40 - 65 cm

Seat height *** (without lifter)

45 / 48 cm

I am temped to get one.

@ Burgerman: I would like your opinion please: Is it possible and sensible to mount a 16x6.50-8 4 Ply Kenda K500 Super Turf With K-SHIELD tyre (https://allterraintyres.co.uk/index.php ... bdf134e5b6) on the BLGL Invacare motors if I need a tyre that works well in rain and snow? Would I need a tube?

I am being offered a “Bopper” (picture here: http://motorrad.michelin.at/reifen/michelin-bopper#dim) on a 10 inch rim. But I am not convinced by the tyre thread.
My rides:
1 BM2/BM3 with 120 A R-Net and Odessey (Lithium in 2016)
1 SKS Swiss VIVA (spare, as only NF22 size battery)
2 Progeo YOGA (for traveling)

I am not sure how rigid the motor drum, or shaft or bearings are. It might be fine. Without trying it and accepting the risk we will never know. I widened mine slightly, from a 3 inch tyre to a 4.5 inch tyre. That only moves the centreline of the tyre by 20mm. So shouldn't change the loading much. Your risk! It may be no problem. Or it may cause the drum/magnets to hit the windings/centre parts. Who knows! Test and see!

Well the lifter is bigger and wider base than the storm4 one, and they never failed. As far as I know! :o

Haven't you said that it had 346mm max ?

Then , it will take . 2 rows of 4 , whereas SINOPOLY is one row of 8 .

You did mention the space you have , but it's buried deeply out there .
